Job Purpose:
The Product Coordinator is responsible for customer care and maintenance of programs at ODG’s Gear Division. Their primary objectives are to maintain focus on customer requirements throughout all processes of manufacturing, and to deliver business results that meet or exceed customer expectations. They are responsible for receiving and entering purchase orders, invoicing and logistics arrangements and support. They, coordinate all relevant daily sales tasks for assigned programs as required by the customer in support of the Program Manager.
Essential Duties:
- Work in compliance with Health & Safety regulations and ensure team members are following policies and procedures
- Receive and enter customer purchase orders and manage customer forecasts within the company’s Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software
- Coordinate customer order fulfillment, escalating demand and capacity issues to Program Manager (PM) and Director of Program Management
- Invoice and close completed customer orders, ensuring accuracy in pricing and delivery
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer(s) to address any special requirements, and to identify and resolve problems
- Assist Program Managers (PM) in new projects from initial start-up to successful launch on the shop floor using ODG’s business management system and tools
- Understand our customer’s business strategies, product plans and how they affect ODG’s business strategies
- Interact with customers to understand product requirements clearly
- Analyze and coordinate product related activities to meet or exceed customer needs
- Prioritize and execute products requests from customers within deadlines

Educational Requirements:
- Equivalent of High School Education
- Post-Secondary Education (degree, diploma or certificate) in Business Management or Economics
- Planning & Logistics background would be an asset
Work Experience Requirements:
Must have 3 years’ experience in Product Planning or Customer Service. Within a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Software: Microsoft programs, Internet
Physical Requirements:
Various environments including office, production areas.
Working conditions:
- Normal office environment
Wage Range:
$40,000 – $45,000
