Gear Systems Engineering Team Lead
Bob Reiter holds a B.A.Sc from the University of Waterloo’s Mechanical Engineering program with an option in Management Science. Bob joined the ODG team in 2008 as a Gear Engineer in Training. During his 6 years at ODG he has been involved in a number of different roles, such as gear inspector, process developer, tooling designer, program manager and gearbox designer. After attending the Gear Dynamics and Gear Noise Course hosted by The Ohio State University Gear Lab, Bob has been focusing on designing gears and gearbox for noise critical applications. Bob has also attended various seminars hosted by AGMA. In addition, Bob works closely with the graduate program at the University of Waterloo on research projects relating to gear shaping and machine controls.
